DonationThe EZ Rocks Skate for a Cure was created by Brad and Nancy Zakes, in memory of their son, Ethan Zakes, who lost his life in 2011 to ALD at the age of 10.
100% of sponsorship dollars and all funds raised through the event will benefit the Ethan Zakes Foundation, a 501(3)(c) non-profit charitable corporation established for the purpose of funding newborn screening programs for the early detection of rare childhood diseases.
